Data Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.

Name and contact details of the controller

The controller within the meaning of the DSGVO is:

Apartment Vienna 22
Katharina Taussig
Arnikaweg 107/3/2
A-1220 Vienna

You can reach us at our previously mentioned address, by e-mail at katharina@apartmentvienna22.at as well as via the contact form on our website.

Data collection when contacting us

If you contact us in writing, by telephone, via the form on our website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions for the duration of the statutory retention period. We do not pass this data on to third parties without your consent.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.

If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Web hoster / Provider

The web space provider stores data about each access to the website (in so-called server log files). This data includes: Name of the website, message about the call, browser type, operating system, referrer URL (previously visited website), IP address and the requesting provider. This data is only recorded for statistical purposes and this to optimize the security of the hosting system.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC ("Google"), Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The data collected in this process is also processed outside the EU. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by its users. The information thus generated is transferred to the provider's server and stored there.

You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored.

In the case of activation of IP anonymization via your browser, however, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. This means that only a rough localization is possible.

The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on the EU's standard contractual clauses under the Privacy Shield agreement. Further information: Google Privacy Policy & Terms of Use.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG as well as Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO.

Our concern in terms of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymized and the IP address is anonymized.

Google Maps

We use the "Google Maps" component of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter "Google", on our website. Each time the "Google Maps" component is called up, Google sets a cookie in order to process user settings and data when displaying the website on which the "Google Maps" component is integrated. As a rule, this cookie is not deleted by closing the browser, but expires after a certain time, unless you delete it manually beforehand.

If you do not agree to this processing of your data, you have the option of deactivating the "Google Maps" service and thus preventing the transfer of data to Google. To do this, you must deactivate the Java Script function in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you will not be able to use "Google Maps" or only to a limited extent.

The use of "Google Maps" and the information obtained via "Google Maps" is in accordance with the Google Terms of Use - GOOGLE LINK and the additional terms and conditions for "Google Maps" GOOGLE LINK.

Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, content is displayed in a standard font.

Calling up script libraries or font libraries can automatically trigger a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible - although it is currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes - that operators of corresponding libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Currently, script libraries or font libraries are stored locally on our web server and are loaded from there. A connection to the library operator is not currently established.

Duration of data storage

Data will not be stored for longer than is necessary to fulfill contractual or legal obligations and to defend against possible liability claims After expiration of the period, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted.

Data transfer

As a matter of principle, your data will not be transferred to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so, the transfer of data is necessary for the performance of the contractual relationship, or you have previously given your express consent to the transfer of your data. External service providers and partner companies, such as the shipping company commissioned with the delivery or other cooperation partners, only receive your data insofar as this is necessary for the execution of the contract or the processing of your service. As far as our service providers come into contact with your personal data, we ensure that they comply with the provisions of data protection laws in the same way as we do. Your personal data will not be sold or otherwise marketed to third parties.

Updating the terms

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time according to business needs.

Your rights

You are generally entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, please contact us to clarify any issues. Of course, you can also complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority. If you have any questions about data protection, please write us an e-mail or call us.
